Just a simple phone call, a name, and a social insurance/security number that is in sequence , what I mean by that is it has to add up, there's an algorithm to social insurance/security numbers. The numbers in your social security/insurance number have a special pattern to them. When you move to a new place and get the utilities hooked up they ask for your name, date of birth, and your social security/insurance number, that's it. They can't actually check the number to see if it's yours, they can only type it into a special program that tells them if it is a valid number, meaning...does the number add up, the algorithm. The program tells them if it is a real number or not, not who it belongs to.
