Kevin Trudeau is just one of many scammers in the "Diet Game". Yes he has a dubious criminal past, as do many well known marketers and infomercial people. Desperate people won't care though, they'll buy his books anyway. Why? The same reason people buy into Jenny Craig, or any other diet program. They think there's a secret, an easier way, they think they can buy their way to it, so they do.
I have news for you. All diet programs, books, websites, are scams.

Back before I got a real job, I was a personal trainer for 4 years. The crap I have seen people put themselves through, the useless programs, the books, all shit mostly. If I had a dime for every time one of my clients brought me some tape, cd rom, book, or other crap, and asking my opinion, I'd be rich.
Here's the secret I promised. Activity is the key, not what you eat. As we get older and our appetites stay the same, and our metabolism slows down, we get fat, we need more activity than our younger selves did. If you're going to continue to eat the way you do, then increase your activity, it's simple math.
Most people aren't interested in what I just said. They weren't when i was a trainer, and they won't be now. People always have an excuse not to move their fat aging asses. I've heard them all. I'll list a few. I had a lot of clients argue these excuses with me over the years. 90% never lost the weight they wanted to.
1. My medication causes me to gain weight.
2.I have a glandular disorder.
3.There's a "Fat" gene in my family.
And on and on they go.
Let me put this question to people buying the late night infomercial diet crap, or any infomercial crap for that matter.
What were you doing up at that hour watching that crap? That stuff is geared towards lazy dreamers, people that stay up late snacking and sleeping half the day.
People with a life and goals go to bed at a decent hour so they can get up early and build a life. There's a large part of the population who never buy that infomercial crap because they never see it, they're in bed, resting, for the next days challenges.
If you want to lose weight, eat a little less, and do a little more. Within a year you will have lost an enormous amount. The secrets free, common sense, you don't have to buy it.
